Explanation.

My name is Andrue Coombes, and I live in the State of Massachusetts. There are 298 towns and 53 cities in Massachusetts. It's my goal to visit each and every one of these places, take a picture of myself with the "Entering ___" sign, and interact with both the social and physical geography of the area. In this blog, I will write a story about my visit to each place, and things I did there, as well as post pictures and other things of interest. Hopefully I will complete this within the next few years, and everyone can notice how beautiful things can be in their own state if they just get out of and experience them! Good luck on all of your travels!

WHITMAN!

Whitman! Oh yes! Whitman is always grouped together with adjacent town Hanson to form the dynamic duo WHITMAN-HANSON. It's a very small town, with a lot of nice people! The Chocolate Chip Cookie was accidentally invented here by Ruth Wakefield in 1933! The Toll House Inn Sign is still up here too! (Pics Soon) This town may be small, but it's got heart!

EAST BRIDGEWATER!

GO EAST! Today we drove to Hingham to my grandparents house and we passed through EAST BRIDGEWATER! I have only stopped here a few times, but passed by very frequently. This one time I passed through here, I went to the library and I saw a presentation by writer JEFF BELANGER. It was sooo cool! It was about weird and cool places in Massachusetts that actually inspired me to get out and find cool places all over! My mother apparently went on a ghost hunt in the East Bridgewater town hall/police station. SO RAD!

BRIDGEWATER!

First Post!! So today, this gloomy chilly sunday, my family and I ventured out to go eat thai food with my uncle and grandparents for my uncles birthday! One of my all time favorite restaurants is in Bridgewater and is called the CHATTABOX. Its located at 755 Bedford Street and every time we go there, my mom and my brother and I order the same dish. Its cute because they remember us every single time.
Bridgewater is a town right off of Rt. 44 and it was settled in 1650! Its a very old Massachusetts town and its best known for BRICK production.
A bunch of my friends go to school here at Bridgewater State College! Theyre all rad people. I dont spend TOO much time in this town, but every time Ive come here, its always been a nice time.
